Ed and I were first year teachers together at Robinswood Jr. High in Orlando, Fl.. We became instant friends along with his beautiful wife Teresa. I remember when both July and Butch were born. I love them all. God's Blessings.

Rest In Peace Coach Davenport. You had a tremendous impact on a whole generation of students going through the doors of Fort Walton Beach High School. You helped raise all the young men that were fortunate enough to have you as their coach. The positive influence and the core values that you installed in us remain as our moral compass and will be passed on to the next generation. Our prayers go out to your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Davenport's family. He was an assistant principal at Kenwood years ago when I first began my teaching career. He was such a wonderful presence for the children, the faculty and staff, and the parents. He did an observation in my classroom one day, and I remember it as being one of the most enjoyable observations I ever experienced! I'm so sorry for your loss, and that of our community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family members. Coach Davenport will be missed but many great football memories are being cherished by all that got to be a part of it with him. His impact on them lives on.

When someone you love becomes a memory the memories become a treasure. May the. God who,"binds up the broken-hearted and comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging time. Our heartfelt sympathy for your loss.-Isaiah 61:1,2-

RIP Eddie. We had many battles on the football field but always had respect for each other in coaching. I remember we would always call each other when we had a problem and give each other advice. I will miss you my friend.
Bless you and your family.

Rest In Peace Eddie. You took a chance on me when I was 23 years old and gave me the opportunity to teach and coach at FWBHS. You were a great role model to me as a coach and family man. I will be forever indebted to you for seeing something in me and bringing me into a great school with great people. Thank you for everything. You put FWBHS on the map
